Milton Babbitt, the seminal 20th century composer, wrote Partitions in 1957, and Post-Partitions in 1966. He noted in the score that Post-Partitions should immediately follow Partitions. Note that Mr Babbitt indulged his whimsy in the title of \"Post-Partitions.\"
Mr Babbitt's style of composition is called \"total serialism\" by academics; \"bleep-blop\" by musicians; and \"is it over yet?\" by the general public. Curious how it can all sound wonderful after a session with Mr Bong.
