Great cover of Nat Adderley's Work Song with wah-wah, Fender Rhodes and vibraphone. This LP was recorded in 1979 and distributed at Randall's live shows in small numbers. He was primarily a vibraphone player but gained notoriety by doing George Formby songs which eventually eclipsed his vibraphone playing. The A-side to the record is all ukulele songs and then we have this jazzy number on the b-side. I've never seen such a misleading album cover in my entire life, if I hadn't heard this on Working Man's Soul I wouldn't definitely have passed it. The funkiness in the song I would attribute to the producer of the album Dave Gold of KPM library fame.
