Shortly after their moderate success in Toronto, Ora was picked up by Madelyn Nelson who was at the time, legendary super producer Teddy Riley's manager. Ora subsequently moved to Virginia to further their career under the direction and guidance of Teddy. After recording a 7-track demo with Riley, the girls returned home as their demo package was being shopped. Moments after, Ora had a falling out with their management and all ties with Teddy Riley were severed.
