Alabaster - A Prayer For The Dying - FULL ALBUM (Post-Hardcore, 2005)

Playing Next: Glenn Miller And His Orchestra - The Sound Of Glenn Miller (1956) (Full Album)

TRACK LIST / LINKS IN FULL DESCRIPTION:

This is definitely a young band's independent CD that they put together and released before they all split off to college or something, but it's interesting. The genre is post-hardcore/alt-rock with screamo backing vocals in the vein of Thursday, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, etc. except for some interesting one-off decisions across the album - some twee synths in one song, female backing vocals in another, and an odd dive into straight-up metalcore in the middle of the album. I enjoy this and I hope some of you do as well.
