Tonight, I post my last album of the year 2020. It’s a special band for me because I heard some of their songs when I was younger but never found their full album until recently when their bassist contacted me after hearing of my project. The album is “No Turning Back” by Stand Point 418 from Lévis, Qc. It’s been released in 1997 and I was not attending shows yet but I saw a few videos and flyers that confirmed I was not born at the right time. SP418 had this typical 90’s metallic HC sound and were definatly pioneers in the area. This album is a piece of Quebec hc/punk history and I hope it will bring back countless awesome memories to some and most of all give an interest in Quebec HC/punk history to others. Stand Point 418 eventually changed members, style and name to become one of south-shore’s all time heavyweight, Empty Soul. Get on it, listen to it in its entirety and share it on your pages!
