Here is Hilmer Borgeling (1903-1969) with one of composer and orchestra leader Helge Lindbergs (1898-1973) greatest hits from 1929.
Vocalion band at direction by other great composer and orchestra leader Theo Mackeben (1897-1953) is playing. I always likes the arrangements of Mackeben, he have a typical sound that most of the time is easy to recognize. He also recorded under pseudo John Morris jazz orchester. Most known (at least in Sweden) must be his composition Bel ami.
Lindberg wrote En kärleksnatt i Barcelona ( A night of love in Barcelona), for Ernst Rolf's China revue It was recorded in Berlin April 1929, for the Swedish market. This is not so \"hot\", but a wonderful exemple of Swedish popularmusic from 1929
