VERSE 1:
City lights dancing off your face
We would go til’ the sun comes up
Go to the sun comes up
Tangled up, Casanova games
But you call when you need my love
Call when you need my love
Tiempo traer el dolor
Todo lo qué supe yo de amor
Todavía no entiendo lo que siento
Sin razones yo peleo contra el viento
Baby it’s a war
Every time I try to close the door
You pull me right back to the rhythm of the tempo
Don’t know why never can let you go
CHORUS:
(Drop/ Vocal Chop)
VERSE 2:
Take it back take it to your place
When I know I should give you up
Know I should give you up
You got something I can’t replace
So I call when I need your love
Call when I need your love
Tiempo traer el dolor
Todo lo qué supe yo de amor
Todavía no entiendo lo que siento
Sin razones yo peleo contra el viento
Baby it’s a war
Every time I try to close the door
You pull me right back to the rhythm of the tempo
Don’t know why never can let you go!
CHORUS:
(Drop/ Vocal Chop)
Houston born Colombian-American artist Henao, cites Selena Quintanilla and 90s R&B Music as a source of musical inspiration. During her teenage years, Houston’s burgeoning music scene fueled by the enormous success of Mike Jones, Paul Wall and other Houston natives continued to feed her interest in music. This would later lead to Henao recording hooks for local underground rappers. Her Serendipity Remix alongside Lucas Estrada became a Top 50 Viral song in Germany and Austria on Spotify. Henao’s Colombian roots inspired the Paraiso EP, which is a fusion of rhythmic latin sounds and modern R&B.
