Ultimatum (Fra) - A Ecouter Sans Moderation (1995) [Full Album] (with lyrics)
This is the first and only album released by the french heavy metal band Ultimatum, it was self-released in 1995, that same year they played at the Printemps de Bourges and at the Eurockéennes de Belfort (their hometown).
Ultimatum was formed in 1994 of the ashes of Upercut (1989-1993).
When the Singer/Bass Player Jean-Charles Hyordey left to join Mescaline in 1993, Fabrice who was a big fan of Upercut began learning how to play bass that same year to join them.
The band was really active, they have played a lot of gigs in france.
After \"A Ecouter Sans Modération\", the band recorded the track \"Etat D'Esprit\" to appear on the \"Metal Session Vol 1\" Compilation (1997), two years later they will record a more experimental track, \"Non-Sens\" for the ten years compilation of the Rockhatry (The place where they used to rehearse) and that same year, their Lead Guitar Player Philippe Mathey left the band.
As a trio, the band changed a little bit it sound, downtunned guitars and almost guttural vocals, getting in a more metal way.
They will record their ultimate release, a single called \"Ultimatum\" in 2001 with a very good sound, production and ambiance.
After this, the band will get in a more extreme Metal style until the band stops in 2005 after the death of Singer and Guitar Player Philippe Wimmer, he died of a heart attack, it was the end of Ultimatum.
