Gingers music is a fine blend of funky rhythms, rocky riffs and wailing guitars. The young fourpiece heading from Zurich, Switzerland, is influenced by the free floating and experimental music of the late sixties and the early seventies.

Jamming live on stage is an essential element of their music – often without knowing where they finally will end up.

After a much regarded debut in 2010, Ginger again tease with the release of the live recordings from their 2010 fall tour. „From the Road“ represents the affinity of the four young Swiss to improvised and handmade rock music and reveals once more that the 60’s are still alive in our digital age. Gingers music acts as a melting pot for old and new, blues and rock, heavy riffs and spaced out psychedelia.

Since our formation in 2007 we've been presenting all of our music as free downloads in high quality. This is not because we think our music isn't worth anything, but because we're reacting to digital reproducibility and consequential changes in the music business. But creating an album is still a huge endeavour and takes a lot of resources, time- and moneywise.

So if you like what we are doing, don't hesitate to support us in any possible way: Come to our concerts, spread our music at your local recordstore, your favourite bar, music magazine and radiostation, donate or treat yourself to physical copies (finest 180g vinyl / CD's) of our music. To let us know that you appreciate our work subscribe to our newsletter, leave a comment in our guestbook or friend us on facebook.

We'd still like to remind you that it's our music though. For any kind of commercial use, you'll need our approval.

Just drop us a line if you still have any questions!
