Here's my saxophone collab of Sootopolis from Pokmon RSE with Ana and Chris! I'm Sab and I love jazz and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

I HAVE FRIENDS!

This project was so much fun to arrange and record. I got the idea for this cover back in October, but Ana had been sick for awhile so we waited to record. Ana had a lot of parts since she was doing a lot of alto and supposed to do bari, but I asked Chris to help out. You'll be seeing both of them in future covers! A lot of collabs in the future that I am very excited about!

Sootopolis City is definitely an underrated track from Pokmon RSE. It's definitely on the list of favorites and I really love Gen 3 Pokmon music. It's been awhile since I've done a Pokmon cover so it was nice to be able to share some more Pokmon music and with friends!

The arrangement was fun because it was originally supposed to just be alto and tenor sax, but I thought it would be good to add more layers. It definitely was.
