Four days after this session, Selvin recorded a different arrangement of the song with a Scrappy Lambert vocal which was issued on Columbia’s dime store labels as by “Roy Carroll and his Sands Point Orchestra” (listen here: https://youtu.be/SZ_ZFWC2P3I ). Like “Dancing In The Dark,” the Columbia flip side “High And Low” was also featured in the Dietz & Schwartz score of the Broadway musical revue “The Band Wagon” (listen here: https://youtu.be/QHduu39X7gI ).
