Probably the best song in Elvis' 1965 movie \"Girl Happy\" is the lovely ballad, \"Puppet On A String\". It was the very first song recorded on the very first day of the soundtrack sessions for the movie, on 12 June 1965 at Radio Recorders' studio B in Hollywood and was completed in eleven takes.

As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
