Deuces
This is a duets album that will knock your socks off. It has a sound and guest list that only Charlie Daniels could achieve. If you like a high energy sound loaded with talent, do yourself a favor and pick it up.
This is another terrific album from The Charlie Daniels Band. With a sound that is uniquely his, Daniels continues to record the music that feels right without tying it to any specific genre. His guests for this special album range from Blue Grass Legend Earl Scruggs to one of the renegades of the Muzik Mafia, Gretchen Wilson. You will find Jazz & Blues icon Bonnie Bramlett along with the high lonesome sound of Vince Gill. These are just a few of the thirteen different artists who jumped at the chance to record with Daniels. Some of the songs they chose to record were Daniels' originals. Others are favorites that were pulled from a cross section of musical genres.
From the time Daniels started performing, he refused to allow his music to be labeled as anything other than CDB music. It has been a mishmash of styles and music that he liked and wanted to do. He's a Southern boy with a Western flair. He is patriotic and isn't afraid to share his views with the world. He is sometimes called an outlaw, but he says that he isn't an outlaw but more of an outcast because he is just himself. He doesn't follow trends or fads. He says, \"I can't be anybody but me.\" And there is no denying the impact he has had on the industry.
