BACKSTORY:
A big thanks goes out to the students for their incredible rendition of Cosmic Love. This video marks the beginning of how we will cover songs from now on. Instead of note for note covers the students will strive to reinterpret the songs, changing instrumentation, arrangement, melody, etc..
We shot this video on a Canon Canosound 514XL-S camera using 8mm Kodak film. The auto focus feature on the camera appeared to be working correctly but as you can see from the video it isn't very sharp. And after uploading the video to YouTube jagged lines appear in the video whenever there is panning or a lot of motion. I hope to shoot more of these videos in 8mm or 16 mm so these technical difficulties will be ironed out.
