Atmananda means bliss of the soul. This album was inspired by a Vinyasa yoga sequence designed by Jhon Tamayo. Using inhalation and exhalation to dictate the form of each song, Atmananda is an introspective listening experience. The song titles are composed of a Sanskrit word and an English synonym to conjure an idea or object. If one is able to hold the idea suggested by the title while listening to the track, one can ride the music deep into their personal understanding.
Because the music was composed with yoga asanas in mind, this music works very well to practice yoga to or add to your playlist.
