Its, its, the ballroom blitz Im not really sure I know what this song is about but I LIKE IT! The Sweet, or Sweet, (Ive seen it both ways) looks and sounds like a band that wanted to be unique. I wasnt around to see how that went at the time but after I discovered the band and some of their songs like, Fox on The Run and Love is Like Oxygen, Im certain I would have been a fan. I like how they tried to mix some rock aggression with interesting melodies. Im sure there were lots of others and Queen certainly comes to mind, but when I heard the drum part to Ballroom Blitz, it was time to play the drums :)
Im 14 years old and I want to be a musician when I grow up. I try to play many instruments but the one that I feel most at home on is a drum set. I would say the only thing that impresses me more than a great musician is a great songwriter so I also spend some of my time trying to learn the magic of songwriting. I thought it would help me keep focused on music if I started a drum series where I learned a new song every couple of weeks. After 4 years, its now turned into a larger musical search but my goal hasnt changed. Hopefully, I will keep doing it, keep loving music and keep getting better.
