The Beatles - I Should Like To Live Up A Tree

Playing Next: New Order-The Him (Live 5-22-1981)
Random Page  /  Random Song

- NOTE: There is no such Beatles song by this title. It appears that original bootleggers misunderstood lyrics from a rehearsal recording.
- Recorded January 28, 1969 during the Get Back/Let It Be sessions.
- John Lennon led improv/jam during rehearsals for One After 909.
- Restoration of vocals reveals John sings: \"Once upon a time there was a woman living underneath a tree, everybody thought she looked just like a....?\"
- They also incorporate the politically incorrect \"Oriental riff\" melody used back in the 20th century: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_riff
- The title comes from very early Beatles bootlegs where they couldn't hear the vocals clearly in the muddy sound quality of the audio.
- This recording has been re-balanced and remastered by Red Hector.
