The 1934 Marion Davies-Gary Cooper vehicle “Operator 13” was a Civil War spy drama that featured a number of Walter Donaldson-Gus Kahn songs. The Mills Brothers were on hand to perform a couple of them, including their popular recording of “Sleepy Head” (Mills version here: https://youtu.be/y3K6DTUZkFI ).
