Chancellor of Soul, Mike Boone presents a classic LP cut taken from The
O'kaysions 1968 ABC album 'Girl Watcher' entitled, 'Little Miss Flirt'.

'Little Miss Flirt' was composed by talented songwriter and guitarist,
Wayne Pittman, also the composer (along with B. Trail) of the masterpiece
classic 68' summer hit, 'Girl Watcher' which sold a over a million copies.
'Girl Watcher' recorded in February 1968 on the local North State label
became a regional big hit in the Carolinas, where ABC records caught
wind of its sales and signed the group to their label, where the song was
distibuted nationally.
The 'Girl Watcher' LP was produced by legendary songwriter, arranger and
producer, Johnny Pate. Pate played an important role in the development of
legendary sound of Chicago Soul during his stint at Okeh Records, when
hired by producer, Carl Davis, another key figure of Chicago Soul.
Lead singer, Donnie Weaver started singing at the age of 12 with a local
band called, 'The Kays'. 10 years later, Donnie would renamed the group,
The O'kaysions.
The 'Girl Watcher' LP hit No.49 on Billboard's R&B LP charts, the week
ending Nov 30, 1968.
