Shake Rattle And Roll (Calhoun) by Bill Haley and his Comets

Early rock ‘n roll hit...a million-seller for Haley...had been written under the ‘Charles Calhoun’ pseudonym by influential writer-producer-arranger Jesse Stone of Atlantic Records. Blues singer Joe Turner’s classic Atlantic original from earlier in ’54 spent seven months on the R&B charts.
