Decided to watch the OVA after purchasing this (only got this album because I read that Osamu Totsuka & Takeshi Ike composed the soundtrack). Honestly I think everyone who's reviewed the anime so far is exaggerating about it; it's clearly not the best out there but it's far from worse. In fact I think it was an enjoyable watch for what it was worth.
Shames me to say this but the music's kinda forgettable though. I was hoping the music to sound like that of Bismarck's and Dancouga's but it isn't. There are a few decent tracks in it but overall I feel like it could've been way better.
(And as expected from these two composers, some BGMs are missing from the OVA...track 02 isn't even the same version that was used in the OVA)
At least I got this for a cheap price. Apparently the CDs are worth a lot but I got mine for $25.
