Collins Classics is pleased to present the official audio Ravel's 'Bolero', 'La Valse' and 'Suite No.2: Daphnis et Chloé'. These recordings were performed by Louis Frémaux and the London Symphony Orchestra at Walthamstow Town Hall in 1989.
Maurice Ravel was a French composer, pianist and conductor. He is often associated with impressionism along with his elder contemporary Claude Debussy, although both composers rejected the term. In the 1920s and 1930s, Ravel was internationally regarded as France's greatest living composer.
