Brilliant recording of the Elton John band with Long John Baldry from Baldry's 1972 album \"Everything Stops for Tea,\" which was produced by Elton John. Ray Cooper's percussion and Elton's backing vocals steal the show here on this very fun cover!
Elton John had long been associated with John Baldry, playing in his back-up band in the sixties, and then producnig two of his albums in the seventies. It was from John Baldry in 1967 that Reg Dwight (as Elton was called then) took his new stage name - combining \"Elton\" from their saxophone player Elton Dean and \"John\" from Long John Baldry!
