The intricate strumming and finger-picking that coats the Garden of Heathens album takes you on a warm journey through all the different emotions of the psyche, placing the listener in front of a mental mirror to face who they are. personal contemplation on all levels is gained when anyone spends literally over an entire year away from people, radio, and television, which is precisely the challenge Jake Russell took on during the production of the G.O.H. album. Every instrument and vocal track was written, performed, recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by Jake Russell. No intricate or expensive recording techniques were used in the making of this album.
