The previous version of this video was not viewable in most countries because of the copyright on the audio. This version of the video removes the song track and just leaves the guitar I was playing. Hopefully you can now watch it, you'll need to try to sync up the song yourself if you really want it in there!
These lessons are designed for beginners, and use simple guitar chords as much as possible. In the case of this song, this is pretty much exactly as it was originally played.
DIsarm is a gorgeous song, and very simple from a guitar point of view. The song uses open versions of Em, C, G and D, but also uses them in slightly embellished versions. Note that the high E string is often not played in the chords, and needs to be muted (although it's not the end of the world if you do include it).
From a rhythm point of view it can be little tricky, because it's fairly frantic. Almost the entire track is consistant down-strummed 8th notes, with a few flourishes between chord changes. Don't get caught up on getting this perfect until you're really comfortable with the chord sequences.
