A change of pace for Herb Alpert, as he enlisted the famed back-up singers, the Blossoms to record a title with more vocals than was usually heard on a Tijuana Brass outing. “Mexican Drummer Man” was released on 45 in the both the US and the UK on A&M and Stateside respectively. It also appeared on a 1964 UK Stateside album, “Sounds Tijuana”.
