As a most atypical dance-band style for Harry Horlick’s popular radio “salon orchestra,” this session is believed instead to have been a studio group conducted by Bob Haring. Billie Dove and Edmund Lowe starred in the obscure 1929 First National film musical “The Painted Angel,” which produced this tune.
