Rhythmic Displacement In Jazz

Playing Next: Hallelujah by Canton Jones feat. Deitrick Haddon, DPB, Mr. Del
Random Page  /  Random Song

Rhythmic displacement can really help you to improve your jazz rhythm and sound authentic when improvising or playing chords. It means taking the same rhythm and starting it on different beats. The concept is simple but takes practice. In this lesson, I show you how I use it and teach it to my students.

This lesson is from a live webinar for my members of Jazz Skills. You can ignore the notation on-screen.
