This is an amazing LP, it's one of my favorite albums of all time, that's for sure, I heard it was mastered by the band itself and the output is incredibly well done.

As their myspace.com/onesimpleband website address suggests, Houston modestly claimed to be just that - one simple band - but the complexity of their music extends far beyond the surface and will escape the cursory listen. Varied comparisons abound, making it difficult to see or hear the simplicity. Houston's sound and incredible live performances attracted the attention of bands like House of Large Sizes, Shiner and Local H, all of whom took Houston on tour throughout different parts of the country.

Houston called it quits in 2004.

Jeff Halland: Guitar, vocals

Ian Prince: Drums

Lane Soderberg: Bass, vocals

RIYL: Jawbox, Queens of the Stone Age, Shiner, Shudder to Think, Failure, Quicksand, Queen, and Radiohead

Emo / Alternative rock / Stoner rock

Enjoy!
