Finalist of the UK Songwriting Contest 2017 and 2018, and Semi-Finalist of the International Songwriting Competition, The Kut, is the alter-ego of multi-instrumentalist solo-artist and recent PhD Graduate, Princess Maha. The album spent two weeks in the UK Rock Albums Chart, reaching No.7 and charting in 6 other UK album charts.
Supporting DJs include Kerrang! Radio's Johnny Doom, Sean McGinty at BBC Introducing, Wyatt Wendels at Planet Rock, Tony Wilson at Total Rock, HRH Radio, as well as Def Leppard front-man Joe Elliott. The album achieved airplay on 100+ stations worldwide and in 12 US states on AAA, Specialist and College Radio, leading to numerous NACC Rock Chart adds. Video playlists include MTV-U USA, Scuzz, AXS TV USA & Soundnet.
Extensive tours comprise of successful headliners across the UK, and in Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium and Czech Republic. Festivals in 2018 included Download Festival, Camden Rocks, Rebellion Festival, Amplified, Wilkestock, Croydon Rocks & BBC Introducing Stages among many more.
