Amii Stewart's third album was not as successful as her first two, \"Knock On Wood\" and \"Paradise Bird\". When Barry Leng delivered the album to Hansa, the opinion was it lacked a hit single, and Hansa turned to hot US producer Narada Michael Walden to record two tracks with her, as well as funk group Crown Heights Affair. Two different versions were released of the album. \"Images\" for Europe, and \"I'm Gonna Get Your Love\" in the USA, each with different track listings. In Europe, Amii's take on the Supremes classic \"Where Did Our Love Go\" was the first single in April '81, followed by \"Rocky Woman\" in the summer, a song that was not included in the album. \"Great Balls Of Fire\" was belatedly released on single in April '82, and towards the end of the same year (as Amii was signing up with RCA in Italy), Hansa in the Netherlands released two tracks, \"Lay Back In The Groove\" and \"Has The World Run Out\", seemingly left-overs from the same sessions.
I have created an alternate version of the album, a 13-track LP of the tracks recorded (save her duet with Johnny Bristol \"My Guy/My Girl\" which I have added as a bonus to the \"Paradise Bird\" album).
