The video was created by incredible video artist and director Saam Farahmand.
In his own words, ‘This video is a direct symbol of spiritual transition, and the influence of (late artist) Angus Fairhurst’s absent human cutouts. Transition is synonymous with James and Shock Machine. Everything felt right when we were shooting it.'
Farahmand’s video was shot on the Los Angeles coast in 2015 with Star Wars cinematographer Dan Mindel, and sensitive visual effects from ETC London.

LYRICS
Summer days
That we once knew
Felt like nothing
Because of you
And all the clouds
Turn into blue
And all the sounds
Keep breaking through
Keep breaking through
Will you follow?
Will you follow me?
What do you need
From the shock machine?
Will you follow me
To the shock machine
To the shock machine
To the shock machine
And summer days
That we once knew
See them running
Away from you
And silver clouds
Turn into blue
As all the sounds
Keep breaking through
Keep breaking through
Will you follow?
Will you follow me?
What do you need
From the shock machine?
Will you follow me
To the shock machine?
To the shock machine
To the shock machine
But do we need the shock machine
But do we need the shock machine
But do we need the shock machine
But do we need the shock machine
To lead us to our future
Lead us to our future
But do we need the shock machine?
