Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Jazz Ensemble LP out of Verona, New York. Nice covers of Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, but also some great original compositions by music director Dennis Rowe, like the one I have posted. Fantastic punchy drums played by Brad Peet. No date listed, but somewhere in the 1975/1976 range is my guess, as there is a quote on the back cover that explains how the ensemble was formed in '74.
