\"are we on?, \" Tim Conway and Ernie Anderson, on LIBERTY Records, 1966, Stereo. Friends and co-workers on local Cleveland TV in the early 60s, the duo were never truly a team. Even before this record was made (one of two), Conway went to Hollywood and found some fame on \"McHale's Navy\". Anderson stayed in Cleveland and became the cult horror movie host \"Ghoulardi.\" Though short-lived the character's fan base continues to grow. Anderson later made his fortune doing TV promos for ABC. His straight man to Conway here shows little of his off-beat persona. The album does offer up some rare national references to Cleveland suburbs (Parma, Rocky River).
