Hey guys! I PROMISE ILL PUT STUFF UP IN MY STUDIO TO DECORATE SOON!

But in any case, i'm so stoked to be doing some Chrono Trigger again! This ost is super nostalgic to me and I really want to continue doing more music from it!

This theme was a really fun request to do because it has this very positive and upbeat melodic element to it but at the same time, the rhythm section iin contrast is totally jamming hard. I felt very comfortable going into this arrangement and doing some crushing rhythm guitar parts under the melody!

The chorus and bridge are where it really starts to turn epic on the original. I had a blast doing some viking metal style riffs here that remind me a lot of like Amon Amarth. I even A/B'd my mix to Cry of the Blackbirds from Amon Amarth because I felt that this cover had such a vibe similar to it haha.

Speaking of mixing, I decided to mix this arrangement entirely from scratch which I rarely do. (I usually start with my previous mixing settings from the last cover then go from there) but I've been really itching to see if I can level up my game and I feel like this mix turned out super clear and huge! Let me know what you think though!

I had a blast doing this theme and I will definitely be doing some more CT very soon! Thanks so much Pat for the request and thank you guys for watching!
