After seeing Kristus' work, I was just blown away, so I started writing tracks after spending a lot of time wandering around the test levels and older more complete levels for inspiration that could maybe live up to the quality of work he did in his levels.
His work on the Phobia game severely inspired me to do something wildly different from anything I've ever written before. The result was this album.
This was one of the biggest changes in music creation I've ever had, and is likely one of the more memorable projects I've ever helped out on (even if it was just for music). I did a lot of stuff that I had never heard before, but retained some emotion and melody mix in with furious and chaotic rhythms.
Everything I've written since this is 100% the result of thinking differently about how I write music, I owe it all to Kristus for sure. :)
Since these songs were used in a classic DOOM type total conversion, the first two songs are for the intro map and inter screen (short filler tracks to set the mood).
