Finally got around to doing a song from an aweshum RPG I got super into last year, Persona 3! As soon as I finished this game I immediately bought Persona 4 and went on another adventure. Such a fresh twist on the RPG genre! Very interesting battle systems, cool characters, brilliant presentation and of course an RPG isn't finished without a stunning soundtrack. Shoji Meguro has a great style incorperating all areas from rock to rap to dance, this guy knows his shit! I really love how he brings in singers as well in most of his songs.

This is also my first final boss cover too. This song isn't in the main game but in the sequal that comes with the Festival edition of the PS2 game called 'The Answer'. Not too great because it's twice as hard as the original but it ties up some loose ends where the main story left us.
Had loads of fun doing crazy things in this. For one it's much faster than the original and had fun adding in some quirky guitar rhythms. I channelled my inner Tool fan at 4:03 haha if you know the song that rhythm is based off, here's my cyber fistbump! (BUMP) also the leads with the capo came out of totally nowhere while arranging. I wanted the lead to flow with no stops but not be too harsh tone-wise so did both octaves, panned them partially left and right and switched to the middle position for a warmer tone. Ace.
