Three Mile Island - World War II (2005) - FULL ALBUM + BONUS

Playing Next: Savage Circus - Dreamland Manor(2005)(FullAlbum)

Three Mile Island formed in the summer of 2005, following the high school graduation of John Rose and Ken Miller. Longtime friend Zach Elmblad found himself without a band, and looking to change instruments from bass to drums. Spending that summer driving around the backroads of Michigan listening to seventies bands like electric sandwich, grand funk railroad, uriah heep, the jimi hendrix experience, and king crimson left the trio looking back in time as they constructed their sound. Feeding from their modern influences of the mars volta, megadeth, and the red hot chili peppers, Three Mile Islands found an instrumental sound all their own built on a solid blues/rock foundation and spiced with progressive rock and funk elements. This album was recorded in fall of 2005, shortly before the boys moved into a house together near downtown Kalamazoo. John Rose left the band to move to Oregon shortly after the recording, and these songs were only performed in front of a live audience perhaps half a dozen times. Thankfully, the music has been preserved for your listening pleasure.
