\"Osmo Lindeman (b. 1929) began studying composition at the Sibelius Academy in 1956. A pupil of Nils-Erik Fougstedt, Lindeman received his diploma in 1959 and went on to study under Carl Orff in Munich (1959-60). He has held a Sibelius Academy lectureship in theoretical subjects since 1961. His list of works includes a symphony, two piano concertos and chamber music for various instrumental combinations. Since the 1960's, Lindeman has also been active in the field of electronic music, producing his compositions in his own electronic music studio.\"
