Alfred Eric Leslie Satie (Honfleur (Calvados) 17 / 05 / 1866 - París, 01 / 07 / 1925). Gnossienne No. 1 (lent)

This is the first Gnossienne by Erik Satie. The six Gnossiene have an equally strange title, suggesting the mysterious world of Minoan Crete, with its palace and labyrinth at Cnossos. The first three of these pieceswere written in 1890. Something of Satie´s eccentrcity is shown in the directions to the performer and the lack of bar-lines. The first Gnossienne includes the instruccions \"du bout de la pensèe\" (From the tip of the thought) and finally \"Sur la langue\" (on the tip of the tongue).

Esta es la primera Gnossienne compuesta por Erik Satie en1890, el titulo evoca el mundo misterioso de la Creta minoica con su palacio en el laberinto de Cnossos. Parte de la excentricidad del mismo autor se refleja en las instrucciones escritas para el interprete puestas en la partitura. En esta Gnossienne lleva indicaciones como \"Du bout de la pensèe\" ( desde la punta del pensamiento ) todas esas indicaciones aparecen en el video en el lugar preciso de la música en el que debería ir.
Otras peculiaridades de esta pieza es que el nombre mismo no tiene pronunciación o al menos Satie nunca la dijo, además de estar compuesta en base al tiempo absoluto ( es decir que la partitura carece de compas)
