Don't judge an album by its title or artist name. This is the lesson I learned from Clear Light Band's \"Music Report\", which is a devilishly laid back summer record that features excellent guitar and sax riffs.
As is common with many Library Music albums, we are left with very little information about the producer, arranger, and composer, and absolutely nothing about the musicians involved in the project. However, upon further investigation the name \"Joachim Sherylee\" that graces the credits of every track turns out to be a pseudonym for none other than organ/keyboard beast Jacky Giordano (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM8O6MMlvZ8&).
No doubt finances were the primary reason for the fake name; artists that were obligated to only record for specific record labels had to use a pseudonym when making \"off the record\" music (no pun intended). Personally, I don't care if an artists name is Dick Butkiss as long as the music is great. Enjoy the funk. -IF
