July 20th, 2019 - Earth - Today, we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing.
It has been half a century since Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon.
Half a century has passed since that moment when a nation - perhaps the entire world - joined together in childlike wonder to witness “one giant leap for mankind”.
And, so, today, we celebrate the heroes of the space program who blazed a trail into the final frontier. We celebrate the heroes of the armed forces who protect our freedom and way of life. And, we celebrate American ingenuity: the kind of problem-solving that put men on the moon, will soon put men on Mars and maybe one day will send out manned spacecraft to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
