Emmanuel \"Manu\" N'Djoké Dibango (born 12 December 1933) is a Cameroonian saxophonist and vibraphone player. He developed a musical style fusing jazz, funk and traditional Cameroonian music.

Afrovision

A friend of mine called Shaun discovered this from Weymouth covered market in the early 90's lol I only mention that because it sounds a very inauspicious beginning for a great musical discovery but take my word for it what he and his friends were up to in fields at the time was somewhat more psychedelic. That being said this album is something of an anomaly in my record collection I rarely get as late as 76 (with obvious exceptions like Kraftwerk) but this artist / album is a true classic I have very little African music but give this a listen its really very catchy honest!
