Seen a few posts of Echo Base tracks so I though I'd post a copy of the full album. It isn't a brilliant quality rip but it's all I got, atm.
Released on DEP International, UB40's label.
I remember we finished and released this while UB40 were on tour. When they got back they were livid about the cover art and the album title, especially Brian Travers (\"Buy Me\" was meant to be a word play on \"...by me\" - by the group..). Looking back I tend to agree with them, but in our defence it was done in the spirit of the band - the cover artist was a local artist, and we never pretended to be sophisticated - the songs were born on the streets of Balsall Heath not Moseley!
I still enjoy it when I listen to it (mostly!).
