Vocal cover of \"Leaves of Yggdrasil\" by MYRKUR, performed by Psamathes. This cover was created for the #LOYCover challenge held by Myrkur. I'm a huge fan of her music and I was pretty much just looking for any excuse to make a cover of one of her songs at this point, even though I'm actually quite busy. I decided to record the main vocal line and keep in mind the main melodies and harmonies from the original song, and then I just went and improvised the rest on the lead vocal recording. I always have fun doing it and the results are often interesting, like this one. The chanting in the instrumental sections is in my made-up language, I thought it would spice up those bits instead of just having vowels all the time.
