With its title, evocating the old Windows 95 easter egg called EXCELKFA (known also as the hall of tortured souls), ｍｏｄｅｒｎ dream created a conceptual album consisting in dreamy and soulful songs, making the record a ''ode to all of the so-called tortured souls out there'' mixing vaporwave sounds with trip hop influences into a journey of retrospective thoughts.
