The winter installment of my \"Seasonals\" album series, picking up where \"Autumnals\" left off.



The winter album had to be the darkest of the four, full of struggle, harshness and loneliness. So I’ve opted for a more electronic sound on the album, so lots of ambient soundscapes, arpeggiators, electronic bells and glassy synths. There are moments of warmth every now and again, and a little undercurrent of wonder at the pretty side of winter, to provide some respite from the cold. All these pieces are inspired by a separate personal memory of wintertime.
