Human bass tornado Rusko unveils his long-awaited debut album, O.M.G!. As well as being a definitive watershed release for dubstep -- the sound he has successfully pioneered worldwide -- the record looks set to cement Rusko's status as one of the most exciting, rapidly ascending talents in the wider world of electronic music. In addition to crafting O.M.G!, Rusko is responsible for much of the production on M.I.A.'s forthcoming album, including the Space Odyssey single. Outside of the studio, a relentless DJ schedule has already taken Rusko across the UK, Europe, US and Canada, and continues with imminent US tour dates alongside Diplo and Switch's Major Lazer outfit as well as further summer outings.

O.M.G! sees Rusko marrying dubstep to a broader palate of synthetic styles, bringing together UK and US dancefloor sounds and uniting a seemingly disparate array of guests through his visceral, fun-loving production. The result is a unique sunshine-soaked pool party of a record. Opening with devastating dubstep wobbler and current single Woo-Boost, Rusko then takes Amber Coffman of Brooklyn rock band Dirty Projectors on an unexpected detour through UKG and garage with future summer anthem Hold On. Other guests and myriad highlights include; uplifting house workout Feels So Real featuring the soulful stylings of Ben Westbeech, the thunderous Oy, co-produced alongside Italian duo Crookers, and the deep sea sub bass of Rubadub Shakedown with live sidekick Rod Azlan. Fellow up and coming producer Redlight (formerly DJ Clipz) makes his vocal debut on Scareware, while Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane laces the bumping low-slung Got Da Groove.

Born Chris Mercer and raised in Leeds, Rusko took a keen interest in the dub and reggae soundsystems integral to the city's sonic heritage. After graduating in Musical Performance from Leeds University, Rusko moved to London where he began working with fellow DJ and producer Caspa. As a result of promising early output and electrifying DJ sets the pair secured a residency at London's Fabric nightclub and released what's thought to be the first commercially available dubstep mix with their 'Fabric Live' CD. Rusko's Babylon Vol 1 EP followed and included Cockney Thug - a skanking yet brutal definitive slice of dubstep championed by Pete Tong, Switch, Diplo, Annie Mac amongst others and which transcended the emerging bass-centric scene. Other noteworthy studio transmissions include Rusko's devastating remixes for The Prodigy, Little Boots, Kid Sister and Kid Cudi.
