Captain's log: you ever just hear something that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up? What about something with artwork by Suehiro Maruo?!

Pafe released Dream of Embryo in '86 and, other than a couple tracks on a Pafe comp the year before (per the blog, Habit of Sex), Funeral Party don't seem to have put anything else out. Shame, because this is a really cool mix of 80s Japanese ambience, innerspace and nightmare. Essentially, it's highest level dark wave. Drink of thy sepulchral ailment, wretched fiend!
