The second studio album from Steven Wilson's experimental I.E.M. project. \"Arcadia Son\" was the first of two I.E.M. albums released in 2001; the other being \"Have Come For Your Children\" just several months later. This is definitely my favourite alongside the self-titled.



The 20-minute epic \"The Shadow of a Twisted Hand Across my House\" is absolutely incredible and recommended listening for any SW or PT fan.

While Chris Maitland (as Jennis Clivack) plays on the majority of the album, the title track is actually an excerpt from the first song on \"Have Come for Your Children\", meaning that Mark Simnett (the credited drummer on that album) plays on that song.
